Unter den zahlreichen Schreckensbildern des 11. September 2001 hat eines besonders die Gemüter bewegt. Im Rauch, der aus einem der Türme des World-Trade-Centers quillt, wird ein fratzenartiges Gesicht kenntlich. »The Devils face?«, fragten viele Medien. Diejenigen, die aus dem Weltbild der Anthroposophie die Figur des Ahriman kennen, der als Gegenstück zum verführerischen Luzifer die verhärtende Seite des Bösen repräsentiert, konnten die verblüffende Ähnlichkeit des Rauchbildes mit den entsprechenden bildnerischen Darstellungen Rudolf Steiners kaum leugnen.

In diesem Werk sehen Sie auf beeindruckende Art und Weise den diabolischen Sinngehalt der Rauchwolken dieses geschichtlichen Ereignisses. Eine Interpretation des Künstlers Volker Fleischer von den möglichen metaphysischen Hintergründen der Vernichtung.

Under the numerous fright pictures of the 11th of September, 2001

smoke picture to the corresponding visual representations
